The book assumes religious people have not thought through their beliefs — which Mike says is demonstrably false

An assumption running throughout the book is that if religious people really thought through their beliefs they would reject them. Mike takes himself as a counter-example: his whole channel exists because he has thought through these things and has good reasons for what he believes. He acknowledges someone might say he is wrong, but the assumption that religious belief is unexamined is simply false.
