Boghossian self-contradicts by quoting David Hume approvingly: "A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence"

There’s a literal “Manual for Creating ATHEISTS” 00:29:47 – 00:30:17

Mike identifies a self-contradiction on page 45

Page 45: Boghossian quotes David Hume — "A wise man proportions his belief to the evidence" — then immediately says "it would seem to follow that someone's faith couldn't possibly be moved by reason." Mike agrees with the Hume quote but says Boghossian's application of it contradicts his own project, since if proportioning belief to evidence is wise, then Christians who have good evidence should have their faith — and Street Epistemology should engage with that evidence rather than avoid it.
