Mike's experience researching egalitarian scholarship: layers of confusion
Mike shares his personal intellectual journey through the literature.
Mike describes starting with egalitarian sources and initially finding their claims compelling. But when he vetted their footnotes, checked ancient texts, and traced their evidence, he found he had to 'pull away layers of confusion.' Claims that seemed strong on first reading fell apart under scrutiny. He concludes that egalitarians are 'fundamentally wrong on this topic' and that those who should be helping people are creating confusion. Complementarians don't have everything right either.
