Q&A: Difference between backsliding and falling away (Hebrews 6:4) — backsliding is spiritual decline, falling away is apostasy

Limited Atonement, Universalism and why I disagree with both. 00:39:31 – 00:40:33

Viewer Q&A on the distinction between backsliding and falling away.

Backsliding (colloquial): a Christian is doing worse spiritually than before — declining but not departing the faith. Falling away (as in Hebrews 6:4): full apostasy — denying Christ, walking away from the faith entirely. Hebrews 6:4 describes the latter, not the former.
