Apollonius of Tyana is a traveling philosopher who postdates Jesus. He did not believe in resurrection but in disembodied existence. There are conflicting accounts of his death; one account says he appeared after death — but only in a dream to one disciple. No group appearance. This is supposed to parallel the resurrection appearances of Jesus.
