Job 2:10 confirms ra as calamity: Job receiving evil = loss of children, livestock, health

Job 2:10 — Job says to his wife: "Shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?" The evil Job refers to is loss of children, loss of flocks and produce, loss of physical health — calamitous circumstances. This is a different category from moral evil (intentional wrongdoing), even when the suffering is severe.
