After Grenz dismantles the complementarian argument, he builds his own: women are priests, therefore they can be elders.

Grenz writes: 'denying that the priesthood of all believers opens the door to women in ministry requires however that this doctrine be deemed irrelevant to the issue of pastoral leadership.' Mike says the priestly nature of believers is not irrelevant but is insufficient for establishing eldership qualifications.
