Priesthood is necessary but not sufficient for eldership
Mike proposes replacing 'irrelevant' with 'insufficient for' in Grenz's claim.
Being a priest is a baseline for any ministry in Christ, but it is not sufficient for every ministry. Analogy: being human is necessary but not sufficient for being a human mother — you also have to be female and have a child. Similarly, priesthood alone does not qualify one for eldership.
