Calling to online ministry: A strong sense of divine compulsion in 2012
Winger describes how in 2012 he experienced an unusual, intense sense that he had to do something in ministry beyond his local church.
While serving as youth pastor at Hosanna Christian Fellowship in Bellflower, CA — with plans to eventually become senior pastor — Winger felt a strong, uncharacteristic conviction that there was something outside his local church he was meant to do. He told only his wife. He describes this as feeling like he would be "really blowing it" in his walk with God if he ignored it.
