December 2017: Senior pastor redirects Winger to prioritize online ministry

Pastor Gary Ansdell asked Winger: if he stepped in as senior pastor tomorrow, what would happen to the online ministry? Winger admitted he would have to stop it. His pastor said he was not okay with that and believed the online ministry would be bigger than their local church. Though uncomfortable and attached to his existing plans, Winger doubled down on the online ministry, launching the Tuesday livestream series and increasing output to two or sometimes three videos per week.
