Negative inference fallacy: Romans 8 makes inclusive statements, not exclusive ones about the atonement's extent

Responding to Calvinist Arguments for Limited Atonement 00:37:06 – 00:39:10

Mike's main exegetical response to the Calvinist use of Romans 8.

Even granting Calvinist foreknowledge, Romans 8 only says "he gave him up for us" — this is an inclusive claim (Jesus died for us believers), not an exclusive one (Jesus died for only us). The move from inclusive to exclusive is the negative inference fallacy. Other passages clearly teach Christ died for the non-elect, and Romans 8 does not refute them.
