Trinitarian harmony argument can be reversed: if Scripture says Christ died for all, the Father must have intended it

Responding to Calvinist Arguments for Limited Atonement 00:43:48 – 00:45:19

Mike turns the Trinitarian harmony argument back on the Calvinist position.

If 1 John 2:2 clearly teaches that Jesus died for all people including the non-elect, then Trinitarian harmony actually supports unlimited atonement: the Son's death for all must reflect the Father's intention. You can use the same argument in the other direction. David Allen's two books on the atonement address Trinitarian harmony in dedicated sections — it is not an ignored issue in non-Calvinist scholarship.
