Double jeopardy objection answered: Ephesians 2 proves the elect were under wrath after the cross, i.e., already "double payment" on limited atonement

Responding to Calvinist Arguments for Limited Atonement 01:05:53 – 01:08:56

Mike turns the double payment argument against limited atonement.

If double jeopardy means no one for whom Christ died can ever be under wrath, then the elect believers in Ephesians 2 were experiencing "double payment" — they were still under wrath even after the cross had already paid for their sins. The Calvinist framework therefore creates the very double-jeopardy problem it claims to avoid. This shows the construct is applying a flawed logic to Scripture.
