Legal pardon analogy: a rejected pardon does not eliminate the sentence

Responding to Calvinist Arguments for Limited Atonement 01:10:58 – 01:12:00

Mike uses a legal illustration to support his double payment response.

In legal courts, a pardon issued but not accepted by the condemned person does not release them from their sentence. There is actual legal precedent for this. Similarly, Christ's atonement is a provision; those who reject it are not "protected" by it. This refutes the double payment argument on its own terms.
