Calvinist "Jews and Gentiles" default reading of kosmos does not rescue limited atonement

Responding to Calvinist Arguments for Limited Atonement 01:15:07 – 01:16:41

Mike engages White's proposal about the default meaning of kosmos in the New Testament.

White argues that the New Testament default for "the world" is Jews and Gentiles (not all individuals). Mike's response: even if this is true, it does not help limited atonement. The Calvinist position needs "world" to mean only the elect. "Elect Jews and elect Gentiles" still includes non-elect people if even one non-elect person is in the referent.
