BDAG lexicon also supports lowercase-T cross when read in full

Did Jesus Die on a Cross or a Stake? Here's the Evidence. 00:09:39 – 00:11:40

The Bauer-Danker-Arndt-Gingrich (BDAG) Greek lexicon is another source the Watchtower cites selectively. Like Douglas's dictionary, the full entry supports a crossbeam on Jesus's cross.

The Watchtower quotes BDAG calling stauros an upright pole or stake, then stops. The full entry continues: "A stake sunk into the earth in an upright position; a crosspiece was often attached to its upper part so that it was shaped like a T or thus a lowercase t."
