Gospel evidence: titulus (sign above head) requires a lowercase-T cross, not a stake

Did Jesus Die on a Cross or a Stake? Here's the Evidence. 00:18:45 – 00:19:46

Two of the four Gospels record that a sign (the titulus) was placed above Jesus's head on the cross, naming his charge. This detail is evidence for a lowercase-T shaped cross rather than a torture stake.

A stake with hands nailed above the head would place the sign above the hands, not really "above his head." A lowercase-T cross with a crossbeam would position the head below the upper post, making it natural to place a sign above his head on the post above the crossbeam.
