Three additional passages show "household" belief language does not imply infants: John 4:53, Acts 18:8, Philippians 4:22

A Biblical Analysis of Infant Baptism 00:27:05 – 00:29:08

Winger broadens the argument to show that household believing/greeting language consistently excludes passive infants.

John 4:53 — the official and his whole household believed after Jesus healed his son. If infants believe by default, infants can also reject Christ — which raises difficult theological questions. Acts 18:8 — Crispus the synagogue ruler believed with his entire household. Philippians 4:22 — the saints of Caesar's household greet the recipients; clearly infants are not sending greetings. The pattern across all these passages shows household language focuses on cognitively responsive persons.
