Eldership is radically different from prophecy: anyone could prophesy instantly, but elders must meet extensive qualifications

You could get saved and prophesy five seconds later, but you cannot be an elder five seconds after salvation. Elders must be: not new believers, have good character and reputation, have good home leadership, have ability to teach, not given to much wine, and must be male (per video 4 in the series). Eldership has qualifications that prophecy does not.
