Non-Calvinist view: God initiates faith through the proclaimed word, but the individual makes the decision to believe

20 Questions with Pastor Mike (Episode 6) 00:35:47 – 00:36:19

Mike's positive account of how faith works in a non-Calvinist framework

Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17). God initiates through the preached word, but the person makes a genuine decision to trust. This is the sequence: God speaks → I hear → I trust → I am saved. This is not complicated and does not require prior regeneration. Mike directs listeners to his video "Why I Think Calvinism is Unbiblical."
