Voting as a Christian moral obligation in a democracy

Mike presents a theory: rulers have responsibilities before God; abdicating authority is a moral failing. In democratic nations, every citizen is in a small way a ruler through their vote. Therefore not voting is an abdication of God-given responsibility to influence government toward righteousness. He also pushes back on the common claim "you can't legislate morality," calling it self-refuting: all legislation is moral in nature, and the claim that legislating morality is impermissible is itself a moral claim.
