Attending a believer/unbeliever wedding: Mike would likely attend while opposing the union beforehand
Question from Brian Park about attending such a wedding.
Mike distinguishes performing a wedding from attending it. He would not perform but would likely attend, first expressing his biblical objection to the couple privately. His reasoning: once married, the biblical mandate flips from 'don't do it' to 'make it work and stay together.' Attending signals ongoing support for the marriage covenant even if the decision was unwise.
