Three arguments against drunk-in-the-spirit theology: self-control is a fruit of the Spirit; accusers were unsaved; Scripture describes the gifts

Three arguments: (1) Galatians 5:23 — the fruit of the Spirit includes self-control; losing self-control cannot be a fruit of the Spirit; (2) Those accusing disciples of drunkenness were unsaved people who misunderstood — charismatic teachers side with the accusers when they say it really is like drunkenness; (3) Scripture describes what the gifts of the Spirit look like, and hysterical laughing, uncontrolled shaking, and falling are not consistent with those descriptions.
