Mike's first counter-argument: the accusation of drunkenness in Acts 2 was caused by speaking in foreign languages that some in the crowd could not understand — a misunderstanding of the gift of tongues, not a description of ecstatic behavior. The actual phenomenon was people hearing their own language from Galileans, which others found incomprehensible and attributed to intoxication.
