Acts 16:31 does not teach household salvation -- the household's rejoicing proves they individually believed

Mike's corrected reading: the promise applies equally to each household member -- if they believe, they will be saved. The clincher is verse 34: the entire household 'rejoiced that he had believed in God.' Non-believing family members would not celebrate a father's conversion; their joy evidences their own faith.
