How Mike ended up at Calvary Chapel — left previous church over moral compromise in youth ministry

Mike shares a personal story: as a teenager he was at another church where an incoming youth leader was teaching students to compromise morally (e.g., telling a girl it was okay to make out with her boyfriend). After failed confrontations with the youth leader and senior pastor, Mike left to avoid causing division. He chose Calvary Chapel for its reputation for Bible teaching. He recalls being a junior high student who asked his youth leader for more Bible teaching and was received with mild irritation. He also attended a Baptist church, the Anaheim Vineyard, and other churches.
