Teaching and leadership gifts can function in a variety of ways as Paul says in 1 Corinthians 12:4-6. Mike has seen it in ministry: people lead food ministries, counsel, serve in many roles. Some are called 'pastor' but do not function in the full biblical elder role. Teaching and leadership can be expressed outside eldership.
