Biblical case study on deception and the ethics of intelligence work
Hebrews 11:31 — "By faith Rahab the prostitute did not perish with those who were disobedient, because she had given a friendly welcome to the spies." She is commended specifically for protecting spies. God Himself instigated the spying mission. Mike concludes: not all deception is wrong in every circumstance. This does not justify 99.9% of lying — virtually all deception is still wrong.
