The canonicity of Jude is not threatened by its quotation of extra-biblical sources like Enoch and the Testament of Moses

20 Questions with Pastor Mike (Episode 17) 00:33:41 – 00:35:14

Question from Trumdial about whether Jude's citations of Enoch and Testament of Moses indicate it is a Gnostic forgery

Quoting an extra-biblical source does not make a book Gnostic. Gnostic books are Gnostic because of their theology — the pleroma, the demiurge, the view that the Old Testament God is evil. Jude endorses the Old Testament God's wrath as appropriate — diametrically opposed to Gnostic theology. Mike does not have doubts about Jude's canonicity.
