The Mandela Effect cannot explain the disciples' confidence in the resurrection

Winger states bluntly that belief in the Mandela Effect reflects poor reasoning — collective misremembering of pop culture details ("Luke, I am your father") does not constitute evidence that reality is fundamentally glitchy or that parallel realities exist. Applying it to the resurrection is absurd: there is a mountain of historical evidence for the resurrection (post-resurrection appearances to hundreds, Paul's early creed in 1 Cor 15, willingness of disciples to die for the claim), while the Mandela Effect has no verified evidential basis. The apologetic response is to put the burden of proof on the skeptic: make the Mandela Effect meet the evidentiary bar the resurrection already clears.
