Mark 13:24-27 and Revelation 6:12-17 describe the same end-times event

Mark 13:24-27: after tribulation, sun darkened, moon gives no light, stars fall, Son of Man comes in clouds with power to gather his elect — the Second Coming. Revelation 6:12-17 (sixth seal): great earthquake, sun black as sackcloth, moon like blood, stars fall, sky rolled up like scroll, mountains removed, kings and powerful hide in caves calling for rocks to fall on them from the wrath of the Lamb. The cosmic signs are clearly parallel. The big open question for Mike is the chronology of Revelation's seals, trumpets, and bowls: are they sequential (each set of 7 leading into the next), recapitulatory (three parallel accounts of the same period), or a mix? He leans sequential but acknowledges uncertainty.
