The gospel presentation should be adapted to the individual; the content stays constant but the approach changes.

20 Questions with Pastor Mike (Episode 31) 01:00:21 – 01:02:53

Question 13 from Steph T about how to summarize the gospel with strangers or those from different religions.

Mike does not have a single fixed gospel summary. He tailors the presentation to the audience: Catholic Filipinos get a talk on religion vs. relationship; atheists get more evidence; children get age-appropriate language. Core gospel elements: human sinfulness, standing before a holy God, the person of Christ (God incarnate), death and resurrection. He does not typically lead people in a sinner's prayer on the spot. Cites Paul's different approaches in Acts: in synagogues he argues from the OT; to Greeks he argues from the resurrection and God's command to repent.
