Adjust confidence accordingly; (3) Seek confirmation from other believers; (4) Beware projecting personal desires onto God — citing a man who claimed God told him to marry a girl and take her to Mexico, then reversed within weeks. Scripture warns that prophecy can arise from one's own heart (Ezekiel 13). Mike's personal example: strong burden for YouTube ministry; fruit over time confirmed it was from God. Overall principle: God more often teaches how to make wise choices than makes choices for us.
