Male/female distinctions parallel the other pairs: differences in marriage and eldership continue

Differences in marriage roles and eldership are clearly taught in Scripture. This is perfectly parallel to the other pairs: Jew/Gentile — no difference in Christ but continuing behavioral distinctions; slave/free — free in Christ but practical slavery continues; male/female — equal in Christ but role distinctions in marriage and church go back to creation and are not something believers are told to undo. The continued observation of differences across all three pairs indicates Galatians 3:28 was never intended to be taken as broadly as egalitarians take it.
