Ephesians 4:15-16 — Christ as head from whom the body grows; this passage does focus on provision
Mike examines the second passage cited by egalitarians.
Ephesians 4:15-16 describes growing up into Christ who is the head, from whom the whole body is joined and supplied. Mike concedes this is a strong verse for the egalitarian position because it clearly focuses on nutrition, supply, and relational growth — not authority. However, he argues it does not exclude authority either; it simply discusses one aspect of headship without mentioning the other.
