26+ Bible translations translate kephale as 'head' or 'authority' — only The Passion Translation (2017) used 'source,' later corrected

Male Headship: Is it REALLY Biblical? Women in Ministry part 8 01:32:20 – 01:33:23

Mike surveys Bible translations for how they render kephale.

Mike surveyed 26-27 Bible translations and found they all translate kephale as 'head,' 'supreme,' or 'authority.' Only one — The Passion Translation by Brian Simmons (2017 edition) — translated it as 'source.' Even this was corrected in the 2020/2021 update to 'head' due to pushback. This near-universal translation consensus further supports kephale meaning authority.
