Submission in 1 Peter is not exclusively for evangelism of unsaved husbands

While 1 Peter mentions that submission may help win unbelieving husbands to Christ (citing Lee Strobel's testimony as an example), the instruction is addressed to all wives. The phrase 'even if some do not obey the word' shows evangelism is one secondary benefit, not the sole reason. Submission is presented as 'respectful and pure conduct' that is inherently good.
