Biblical justifications for wifely submission vs slave obedience are completely different

Mike lists the actual biblical reasons for each and compares them.

Biblical reasons women submit: (1) husband is head of wife (Eph 5:23, 1 Cor 11:3), (2) the law says so (1 Cor 14:34), (3) creation order -- Adam formed first (1 Tim 2:13), (4) the Fall -- Eve was deceived (1 Tim 2:14), (5) that the word of God not be reviled (Titus 2:5). These are grounded in creation, nature of marriage, and Christ-church analogy. None of these apply to slavery.
