Final conclusions: Biblical submission is not oppression when paired with husband's Christ-like love
Mike delivers his final summary.
Scripture consistently teaches wifely submission, but it is not oppression because: husbands have self-sacrificial Christ-imitating love, submission doesn't mean micromanagement or lack of authority or permanent minority status or loss of personal pursuits. Wives are co-heirs in Christ. Husbands must honor them lest their prayers be hindered. Egalitarians frequently isolate the wife's instructions from the husband's instructions and from the limits placed on authority.
