Aimee Byrd claims Deborah was 'the word of God to Israel' since they couldn't access Scripture — Mike says this is false; the Levites taught the law throughout the land.

Rebutting Byrd's claim about Deborah
Aimee Byrd (p. 78, Recovering from Biblical Manhood and Womanhood) claims Barak couldn't buy a Bible, revelation wasn't complete, so 'where would one go for the word of God? Only one place: Deborah. She was the word of God to Israel.' Mike refutes this: the Levites were spread in cities of refuge throughout Israel specifically to teach the law. The judge's job was not to deliver the word of the Lord primarily — the priests did that. Judges brought occasional prophetic messages and were partnered with Levites even in the text.
