Key distinction between Deborah and other judges
Almost every other judge leads the army as military leader. Deborah does not. The question is whether God is deliberately restricting her authority. The egalitarian response is that culture required it — the military wouldn't have followed a woman. But Deborah is different from all other judges in this interesting way. The closest parallel is Samuel after anointing Saul, but that's a different dynamic.
