As a prophet, Deborah relays God's instructions — she's not making the call or deciding when Barak should go. There's a difference between her type of leadership and a typical government leader who decides independently. This may be why women being prophets isn't the trump card egalitarians want, but it still means something complementarians shouldn't forget.
