Assessment of egalitarian priesthood arguments
Both egalitarian options (uncleanness and prostitution) seem forced and stretch the text. Mike shares that he wanted to become egalitarian as he studied but grew frustrated because he expected better arguments, especially since he respects these scholars and their genuine love for Jesus, unity, and fairness. It was their handling of Scripture that depressed him. He refuses to protect scholars at the expense of listeners' discernment.
