Question 10: How is woman the glory of man and man the glory of God?

Mike addresses the meaning of 'glory' (doxa) in this passage.

This is a creational difference, not merely cultural. It's connected to verse 9 (woman made from man and for man). Four questions: (1) How is man God's glory differently than woman? (2) How is woman man's glory? (3) How does this relate to head coverings? (4) Isn't woman in God's image too? Women are in God's image (Genesis 1), being conformed to Christ's image (Romans 8), and are sons/heirs (Galatians 3:28). The passage does NOT say women are not in God's image.
