Egalitarian interpretations of 'glory' all use two different meanings for the same word
Mike critiques egalitarian inconsistency with the term doxa.
Craig Keener: woman as glory of man means her behavior reflects his reputation. But then man as glory of God would mean man's behavior reflects on God in a way woman's doesn't -- implying higher male representation. Gordon Fee: man is God's glory (refers to fatherhood); woman is man's glory (man is incomplete without her). Two completely different meanings. If glory = incompleteness, then God is incomplete without man. Fee substitutes Paul's actual reasons (vv.8-9) with the qualifier (vv.11-12).
