Tom Schreiner's consistent interpretation of glory as 'honor' works for both uses
Mike presents what he considers the best interpretation of glory.
Schreiner interprets glory the same way all three times (vv.7, 15) as 'honor.' In verse 15, long hair is a woman's glory/honor; dishonor for a man. From this contrast, glory = honor. Woman honors man (as her source) by wearing a head covering showing his headship. Man honors God by not covering. This is consistent with kephale meaning authority in v.3, with the reasons in vv.8-9, and with the usage in v.15.
