Thanks TG for that comment. We are definitely all supposed to “test all things” and not just “trust” the elders. Without checking things by scripture, many people have fallen prey to false doctrine and many have followed a church as it developed into a cult. It makes me shudder when I hear pastor/elders say that we should just “trust” them.
