She cannot logically be Eve, the ‘saved’ cannot mean original salvation, so childbirth taking the meaning of ‘being raised up in the faith’ makes the most sense. This woman needs to be trained up in the faith and teachings of Christ. I am surprised that so many scholars, even egal. ones, see this as referring to salvation in Christ, and oftentimes referring to Eve, who at the time of the writing couldn’t still be waiting for her salvation connected to Christ’s birth.
