There is so much here to respond to but I will focus on one thing, touched on by molly. Of the many problems with the “kingship” paradigm, the one that bothers me most is the lack of accountability for the “king”. Sure, the wife has a “leader” who can guide her through life and help her make the right decisions. But who guides the husband?
