Education View Hinge 2: Why ALL women in EVERY church?
Mike presses the problem of universal scope for the education view.
Verse 33b says 'as in all the churches of the saints'; verse 34 says 'women' (plural, all of them); verse 35 says 'it is shameful for a woman to speak in church'; verse 36 implies all churches follow this practice. The education view simultaneously requires women elders and teachers in many churches (Keener's position) yet holds that in every church women were so poorly educated they needed blanket silencing -- 20 years after the resurrection.
